Sarah Dillon

Farm to Food Access Program Associate

My love of food began as a child, exploring the shelves of my great-grandmother's pantry, filled with rows of freshly preserved foods. Fast forward 20+ years, and I found myself in Portland, OR, attending every Saturday market and visiting u-pick farms. After being laid off from my corporate job as a logistics manager, I moved east to intern at a local farm and learn the ropes of farming. Twelve years later, my passion for growing food remains strong, though my focus has shifted to ensuring nourishing food reaches those in need. Working as an associate for the FarmHer to Mama program has deepened this passion and given me a greater appreciation for the incredible produce grown right here in our little pocket of the Midwest.
