“Summer Nights” (Overnight) Oats Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup cherries, pitted and halved
1 cup milk (dairy or non dairy)
1/2 cup greek yogurt (optional)
2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
Directions
Prepare the Base:
In a medium sized bowl or mason jar, combine rolled oats, milk, greek yogurt (if using), honey ( or maple syrup), vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
Stir well.
Add the fruit:
Gently fold the fresh blueberries and cherries.
Mix and Chill:
Mix everything together until well combined. Cover the bowl or jar with a lid or plastic wrap.
Refrigerate:
Place in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 4 hours to allow oats to soften and absorb liquid.
Serve:
In the morning, give the oats a good stir. You can enjoy them cold, straight from the fridge, or heat them up for a warm breakfast or snack!
