Grow a Row NWI

Plant a row and share your bounty!

Help fight hunger this growing season by growing a row of fresh produce for your neighbors in need! It’s easy: just dedicate a row in your home garden, local community garden or farm, then donate the harvest to the Food Bank of NWI  or your local food pantry.

Grow a Row is an initiative encouraging gardeners and farmers to plant an extra row of veggies & share the harvest with those who need assistance gaining access to fresh, nutritious produce.

Did you know?

16% of NWI’s residents are food insecure, not knowing if they’ll have food from one day to the next, let alone a meal with wholesome, nourishing fruits and vegetables.

98% of fruits and vegetables are imported to Indiana.  If We the People can grow more for our communities, we will be stronger and more resilient together.
