Farm Club Member Agreement
Thank you for joining Farm Club, a multi-farm CSA! We can’t wait to share the harvest with you. Please review our Farm Club Member Agreement below. If you have questions, please contact us at allyssa@nwifoodcouncil.org.
We, Region Roots Local Farm and Food Hub, and our cooperative of farmers, wish to provide you with fresh, local, seasonal food, and you, the member, wish to receive a portion of our harvest. This agreement outlines our shared commitments to that relationship.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between our farms and you as our customer. Rather than simply purchasing food, members become part of our CSA, known as Farm Club, and receive a portion of the farm’s harvest throughout the season.
We promise to do our best to provide a bountiful share each week. The quantity and selection of produce may vary due to weather, pests, or other production factors despite our best efforts. By joining Farm Club, you agree to share the inherent risks of farming with fellow members and us.
If only a small portion of crops fail, we will substitute with other crops available from our farms. In the unlikely event of a larger crop failure, we will communicate transparently and work across our cooperative of farms to resolve the situation. While our farms also sell to farmers markets, restaurants, and grocery stores, Farm Club shares are always filled first and receive priority.
Full Shares include 10–12 varieties of fruits and vegetables each week.
Half Shares include 5–6 varieties of fruits and vegetables each week.
Members are responsible for picking up their share each week at their selected pickup location or ensuring someone else picks it up on their behalf. If you are unable to pick up your share, you must arrange an alternative or contact us directly in advance.
Members are responsible for selecting either host site pickup or home delivery at the time of purchase and for following the expectations associated with their chosen option. Shares are prepared fresh each week and must be retrieved within the designated pickup or delivery window.
For host site pickup, members agree to pick up their share within the stated time frame, respect host site property, and follow any posted rules regarding parking, entrances, or box handling. If you need to change your host site, you must email us at least two weeks in advance. Shares that are not picked up during the designated window will not be held or replaced and may be donated to the host site or a partner pantry.
For home delivery, members are responsible for retrieving their share as soon as possible after delivery. Delivery is considered complete once the share has been dropped at the designated location provided by the member, at which point responsibility transfers to the member. Region Roots is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, weather exposure, animals, or decline in quality after delivery. Members must provide a safe and accessible drop location and communicate any special instructions in advance. Changes to delivery addresses or instructions require two weeks’ notice. Shares that are undeliverable or not promptly retrieved will not be held, replaced, or refunded.
