Grow your wholesale readiness and strengthen your partnership with Region Roots by joining our 1-hour Virtual Producer Training Session. Led by NWI Food Council and Region Roots staff, this session helps producers understand the scale and readiness expectations for different hub programs, explore our wholesale standards, and get familiar with the learning tag process and the new Wholesale Produce Guide. These trainings are designed to support produce growers in confidently navigating hub systems and positioning their farms for success in wholesale markets. A separate, tailored session will also be offered for non-produce producers—such as value-added makers and meat producers—to review wholesale readiness requirements specific to those business models.
(Participation in at least one session is required for all Region Roots produce growers. If you are not able to attend any of the dates offered, please reach out by March 1 so we can work with you on alternatives)
